Lola was rescued from a kill pen. We don’t know why she ended up there, but friends saw her and thought she would work for TROT. She arrived thin and frightened, refusing to trust people or let them get near her.
But with the loving persistence of some of the kids who volunteer here at TROT, Lola has begun to thrive. She is learning to carry riders, and has begun to call when she sees her favorite human arrive at the farm.
Lola needs extra nutrition and care to help her continue to get healthy. Won’t you consider sponsoring part of the cost of rescuing this pretty little mare?
