Visiting the farm

We are happy to give you a tour of our farm before you make a decision to volunteer, donate, or participate in any of our programs.

For all of us to benefit, please schedule it with us ahead of time.

There are a few reasons why we ask that you schedule a visit ahead of time:

Safety. For you, your children, our animals and ourselves. Our property is not open to the public. When we invite you for lessons or a function, you are welcome here- but least one of our staff members must be on site.
We may not be there. There may not be anyone there to show you around. It is not safe to wander around anyone’s farm without permission.
Lessons. An instructor may be conducting a lesson and can’t stop in the middle and restart. In these instances, the instructor’s attention is to the rider. Visitors can sometimes be distracting during sessions.
Open gate. An open gate is often an invitation and a tease to any of the animals in the yard looking for an open gate through which they can go walk-a-bout or for outside animals to walk on in.
