Therapeutic Riding of Tuscaloosa (TROT) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to improve communication and problem solving while fostering productive family relationships within the low income, least served members of our community through equine-assisted therapeutic activities.
At Therapeutic Riding of Tuscaloosa (TROT), our main goal is to build strong relationships, promote positive healthy behavior, and facilitate learning for those with cognitive challenges through equine-assisted growth and learning activities.
We envision being able to expand our services into the community at large in order to provide even more of a positive impact.
With the generous help of WRM Construction, we have recently built a roof over our riding arena in hopes to almost double the amount of families we serve and decrease the number of cancelled sessions each year due to inclement weather. We are so excited about the growth we will see at TROT in the upcoming years with this new covered arena!
